Russian Visa Information
According to a law enacted in 2016, all Iranians intending to travel to Russia must complete the new electronic visa application form via the official website:

Important Guidelines:
- Only the official online form is accepted; alternative methods will not be recognized by the Russian embassy.
- Complete the form carefully, then download and print it on A4 paper. Make sure to disable the auto-rotate feature during printing.
- After printing, the form must be personally signed and attached to a 3.5×4.5 cm photograph.
- It is recommended to review the form in Persian beforehand to understand all the instructions thoroughly.
- Once the form is completed online, you must personally submit it along with all required documents at the Russian embassy’s political or consular office, or at the designated visa issuance center.
During the visa process, the embassy may invite you for an interview where you will be asked personal, financial, and other relevant questions, including inquiries about your Russian acquaintances and contacts.
Types of Russian Visas
